OnlineRME has been set up to allow for Winery Waste Reporting.
Getting an OnlineRME Account
The first step that you will need to do is to create an OnlineRME account if you have not.
Note | ||

| ||
Please note that your previous SkipThePaper account will not gain you access to OnlineRME. You will need to submit an application for an OnlineRME account. When you register, select "Yes" to the first question and be sure to select Winer Waste Reporting for the services your business performs: Once you have completed registration, OnlineRME Support Staff will review the request and send your credentials. This typically occurs within 24-48 hours. |
Searching for and setting up an OnlineRME property for Winery Wastewater Reporting
After you have login credentials and have logged into OnlineRME, you will search for the winery you wish to report on. In the case of wineries, the best search method will be by searching for Site Name - Single Parcel:
Note | ||
---|---|---|
| ||
After you search and locate the winery you wish to report on, ensure that the site is the winery wastewater system, not the septic system. Each of the wineries may also have a septic system. If you find that there is not a second entry identifying the winery's wastewater system, please contact Napa County, prior to reporting. They will need to enter a second, third, or forth system into OnlineRME to ensure that your report goes to the right system. It is important that you do not delete or modify components associated with the previously entered system. |
Once you find your winery, click on the "Septic Components" link. This is where you will set up your winery wastewater system for reporting.

| ||
For component setup, please address all questions to Napa County Planning, Building & Environmental Services. Component setup and specifics about components are defined by the County. |
If the components are not already present for the wastewater pond, you will add them in the order that they are constructed in the field. To add components:
- Select A Category
- Select A Component
- Select The manufacturer (most will be local)
- Be sure to name the system (IE: The East Winery Pond)
Once all of the components have been added to the system you are now ready for reporting.

Once you add the components for a winery pond within OnlineRME, you will not need to set up the winery wastewater pond again. The components are retained for future reporting. |
Submitting the First Report
Submitting a winery wastewater report is straight forward after you have set up all of the components. First search for a winery as you had previously done so above. Once you find the winery you wish to report on, click on the Submit Work > Winery Report link on the bottom left menu:
Select the date, and click on the Next button
Answer all of the questions on the report, enter comments if necessary, enter a corrections status, and then click on the Save button.
Once you save the report, you can review it, save the changes, and/or lock the report. Locking the report makes the report available to the county.
The report has been completed!
