The first step in adding a component is to first identify the property by using the property search.
IMPORTANT: You can not add components to a LOSS or Multi Parcel Site. Components are established at the site level, and then the LOSS/Multi-Parcel section ties all of the associated systems together. To learn more view the LOSS/Multi Parcel Setup document.
After identifying the property click on the OSS Components tab as shown in diagram 1 .

To add a component follow the following steps:
Select a category
Select a component
Optional: User defined Label
Select component manufacturer (if applicable)
Select component model (if applicable)
Click "add component"
Continue steps 1-6 until all of the components that represent the system have been entered. The results may look like the following:
NOTE: Most septic tanks and pump tanks will not be identified within the manufacturer list. To show a concrete tank for the model click on "unknown" manufacturer and then select concrete for model.
