Black Forest Fire Export

Follow these steps to export and format the data for the Black Forest Fire Building Permit Application.

  1. Login to your SkipThePaper Account

  2. Click on the "Export Application List" link:
  3. 1 - Select the "Black Forest Export", 2 - Define the Date Range, and 3 - Click the "Create Excel Sheet" button:
  4. After the export has been created click on the Export File link:
  5. Open the file in Excel.  Sheet one is the Question list which refers to sheet two, the exported data.
  6. Total Evaluations is just a count of the number of reports on the Export Data tab. 
  7. To find the number of each of the criteria us the formula: =COUNTIF('Export Data'!W:W,"Yes")

    Note:

    'Export Data' is the sheet to refer to. This is automatically inserted after you click on =COUNTIF("CLICK ON THE EXPORT DATA TAB - THEN SELECT THE HEADER OF THE COLUMN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE RESULT - then add a comma and type "Yes" with the quotes. Here is an example of what the formula looks like in the cell:

  8. When all of the data points have been calculated the result looks like the following - Note: the % column has been added:

     

To find the number of homes with more than 1 problem:

  1. Go to the Export Data Tab and freeze the top 2 rows

  2. Select the question rows W - AB:
  3. Conditionally Format the columns and select Text that Contains...
     
  4. Enter "Yes" in the blank text box and click OK: 
  5. Next do a custom sort: 
     
  6. Setup the Sort to sort by all of the columns by cell color > On top> Color
     
  7. Next mark the lines that have more than 1 red item marked in yellow:
     
  8. Finally sort your A column by cell color on top:
     
  9. Count the result and transfer that to your main report page:
