TLS 1.2 - Modern Browser Required

Internet security is changing.  At times those changes require that a modern internet browser to be used to visit websites that requires https: and web-payments.   On January 30th and February 8th, for a few hours TLS 1.1 support will be turned off so that people can get a head start on updating their browsers.  Beginning February 28th, 2018, all browsers that do not support TLS 1.2 will no longer work for OnlineRME.  Below are more details on what you'll need to ensure that you can continue using OnlineRME.

Customer Impact/Changes – As long as any customers or visitors to a website, solution or shopping cart are using modern/up-to-date browsers that support TLS 1.2, they will not encounter any errors during the readiness windows or after February 28, 2018.

Browser Recommendations - In support of TLS 1.2 updated browsers will be needed to avoid any impact or processing issues. Below are suggested browsers.
  • Internet Explorer (IE) - Version 11 of IE is recommended at it is the latest and newest version of IE. It is also recommended to be on at least Windows 7.
  • Edge - Edge is the default browser for Windows 10 and any version will support TLS 1.2 by default.
  • Chrome - Version 30 or higher is suggested but it is recommended to have the most up to date version installed.
  • Firefox - Version 27 or higher is suggested but it is recommended to have the most up to date version installed.
  • Safari - Version 7 or higher is suggested but it is recommended to have the most up to date version installed.
