How to Add Components

The first step in adding a component is to first identify the property by using the property search.

 

Important

You can not add components to a LOSS or Multi Parcel Site. Components are established at the site level, and then the LOSS/Multi-Parcel section ties all of the associated systems together. 

 

After identifying the property click on the Septic Components menu item as shown in diagram 1 .

To add a component follow the following steps:

 

  1. Select a category

  2. Select a component

  3. Optional: User defined Label

  4. Select component manufacturer (if applicable)

  5. Add a custom Label (if desired)
  6. Select component model (if applicable)

  7. Click 

 

Continue steps 1-7 until all of the components that represent the system have been entered. The results may look like the following:

 

Note:

Most septic tanks and pump tanks will not be identified within the manufacturer list. To show a concrete tank for the model click on "unknown" manufacturer and then select concrete for model.
